Horse Portrait Sessions

All K8 Photo Equine Sessions include:

• 20–90 minutes of shooting time

• One horse (additional horses from the same household cost $75 each)

• An over-the-phone or in-person consultation to discuss session details

• Meticulously retouched final images

• An in-person sales session to choose the best images and sizes to fit your home

Sessions start at $275. A $125, non-refundable, retainer fee is due at the time of booking. This goes toward your total session cost. The remaining session balance is due at the time of your shoot.

A-la-carte session fees cover the photographer's time and talent only. Wall art, custom albums, and smaller gift prints are available for purchase at an additional cost during the in-person sales session. Prints start at $40 with no minimum purchase order. However, most clients budget for an additional $800–$2,200 for artwork.

Fine Art Portraits portray your equine companion on a black background. These painterly portraits are shot on-location at your stable or property. Reminiscent of oil paintings, these sessions are the ideal way to showcase your horse’s elegance. 

Fine Art Portrait Sessions last 20–30 minutes.These images are ideal for display on large canvases or framed fine art prints. 

Taken on-site at the setting of your choice, K8 photo Location Equine Portraits capture your horse in their natural environment. These sessions are also a fantastic option for breeding and sales purposes.

Location sessions last 20–30 minutes. Our fine art canvases and custom albums are beautiful ways to display these stunning portraits.
